Swim with the current, not against

Positive Push #8

3 years ago, I battled with 4 visa rejections.

In a country I called home for more than 3 years.

The whole process lasted for 6 months, and I fought really hard to get the visa approved.

A lot of time, energy and money went into this process.

Then, after the 4th and eventually last rejection, I understood that I was pushing for something that was just not meant to be.

It was like swimming against the current.

Sometimes it's best to swim WITH the current and let life take you in the direction you're supposed to go.

This is what I did.

I decided it was time to stop pushing and explore new horizons.

Believe me, this was the BEST decision I took that year.

These rejections allowed me to:

  • start my nomadic journey, starting in Bali

  • realise that I was not happy in my job anymore

  • meet incredible people along the way

  • live in 4 different cities in 1 year

  • take a leap of faith and create my company GreenPush

and so on.

I can't begin to describe the positive outcomes that came out of it.

I am not saying it was easy, but deep down, I knew it was meant to be.

When these "bad" things happen, know that there's a hidden agenda that will bring out better outcomes for you.

I am writing these lines 3 years later and had plenty of time to reflect on this.

So I am asking you today, what happened to you in the past years that led to a positive outcome that you did not expect?

Think about it.

I am sure you will have many stories to tell.

And remember:

"Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it".

Keep pushing ๐Ÿ’ช
