Why asking for help is key

Positive Push #3

So 3 days ago, I asked for help.

It was scary at first to put myself out there.

Because I am usually the one helping.

But this time, I felt like it was my turn to also receive.

And trust me, I could not have anticipated what happened after:

  • 100k impressions on my post

  • 1,100+ likes and 200+ comments

  • 70+ reposts

  • Dozens of messages of support

But these are not just metrics.

This is proof that people are genuinely supportive and caring.

This is the proof that behind the profiles that you see online, they are real humans who want to help others when they are given the opportunity.

This honestly gave me so much good energy that I literally spent my day re-crafting my CV/portfolio.

Out of all the amazing responses I got from my post, I strongly believe that there is something for me out there.

Which gives me so much hope to keep on going.

So for this new edition of Positive Push, here are my learnings from what I experienced this week:

  • If you feel like you need a helping hand, ask for it. Don't wait for the opportunity to come to you, go search for it and find it.

  • When you are experiencing challenging times, remind yourself that above the clouds, the sky is always blue. Something I learned from yesterday's Launchpad masterclass.

  • Take some time to elevate yourself from that moment, and believe that in every challenge, you have an opportunity. Opportunity to grow, learn, evolve.

  • Instead of being a "victim" become a creator. What can you do to change that situation you're in? Take it step by step, and see what comes to you. ✨

I hope that these learnings will resonate with you and inspire you somehow.

Now, I want to take some time to thank all the people who have sent me some love and support.

To all the incredible friends, connections and humans out there, I am SO grateful to you. 🙏

Thank you, thank you, thank YOU. 🫶

Keep pushing,

Alya
