Why we all need a 'Positive Push'

A few days ago, I decided to share the valuable lessons I learned from the closure of my community.

The story resonated with many of you, and I am grateful for your openness and kind words of support. 🥹🫶

Being vulnerable is not easy.

But it’s necessary.

Vulnerability is not weakness, it’s our most accurate measure of courage” as Brené Brown says.

This got me thinking: Why do we always see the scene and not what's going on ‘behind the scenes’?

As an entrepreneur working in the Impact and Sustainability space, I faced many challenges, including:

  • spending six months with a “coming soon” website as I had no strategy for my business

  • restarting everything with a completely new approach

  • being ghosted by valuable prospects

  • spending days writing proposals only to be rejected, over and over again

  • not knowing how to price my services, which is a reflection of my own self-worth

…and the list goes on and on.

Experiencing these challenges is important to understand the lessons behind them.

Sharing these lessons is as important as understanding them.

Because keeping them for ourselves does not benefit anyone.

On the contrary, sharing openly is an opportunity to deepen our relationships, create new connections on a deeper level, and truly relate with people facing the same challenges.

That’s why, starting today, I am committed to sharing my behind-the-scenes insights, including:

🥳 What worked, celebrate the wins with you while sharing how I got there

🧐 What did not work and the lessons I have taken from that experience

Because a “win” requires a lot of effort, work and patience.

On the other hand, a “no” requires us to take a step back to understand the lesson(s) behind it.

In both cases, it requires us to be brave.

If you can relate to this, feel free to DM me. It would be great to feature more of these hard-learned lessons.

Because the more we share, the better we can inspire each other.

Inspired to keep going and make a positive impact in the world.

We're all humans, after all.

And sharing is caring. 💚

So, are you in?
